We are in the midst of an extinction crisis, but global leaders are not committed to the bold actions we need to save life on Earth. In December every country in the world is sending a delegation to the Convention on Biological Diversity Conference of the Parties meeting in Montreal to develop conservation goals for the upcoming decade. The countries will negotiate the targets for the “Post-2020 Global Biodiversity Framework.” At the lead up meetings, there was no agreement that there should be a goal to end human-caused extinction. The Center for Biological Diversity has launched a petition that individuals from around the world can sign asking global leaders to agree on a goal to stop extinction. We are hoping to get signatures from people all around the world so that we can announce the number of signers when the meetings kick off and build momentum towards ending extinction.
Please sign the petition. (Because animals don't have the internet and they are VITAL for our existence.)
